Collins Response

To give a person a poem
and tell them to find the meaning,
without coercing it out, is like
taking a kid to a water park expecting
them to come out dry.
Among the hyperboles and meters,
alliterations and assonances,
they are expected to master it,
like a Navy captain,
without learning how to command the sea.
