Austen's fashion sense would probably be weather confused, she would wear sandals in the winter and sweaters in the summer just to make a statement. Her fashion sense would be going against what is socially acceptable but doing so only makes her suffer more because she'll be the one with freezing feet in the middle of a snowy winter. She would be the girl who criticizes Coachella fashion for being "cultural appropriation" but secretly wears flower crowns and draws on hennas.
