Austen's Style

If Austen's style were to be depicted through a series of fashion choices, she would wear extremely embellished and ornate articles. To start, she would wear a super, big, floppy hat like the ladies at horse races often sport. It would be bright red, made of expensive velvet, with a bow attached larger than her head. Her dress would be a frilly, with a golden lace and an umbrella attached to her bottom in case it rains. To finish off this amazing outfit, she would wear ugly green crocs. This is because she embraces materialism yet is not afraid to defy and critique it.
